Comfortable, well equipped caravan for four to six people situated on a croft in Glendale, North West Skye. The caravan enjoys spectacular views up the glen to Macleod's Tables and over Loch Pooltiel to the Outer Hebrides. Glendale provides a Post Office, shop and restaurant as well as being home to the Toy museum, one of Skye's many attractions whilst Dunvegan Castle is only a short drive away. For serious walkers/climbers, it is within easy reach of the Cuillin and there are plenty of easier walks nearby. For nature lovers, late May to early July is the time to come when the croft is awash with a huge variety of wild flowers, including stunning orchids, growing just outside the caravan. Whales and seals are regularly seen from Neist Point and Sea Eagles nest in various points around the cliffs. Look out for shooting stars in August and in the right conditions in Spring and Autumn the Aurora Borealis provides an awesome spectacle over the Loch.

ACCOMMODATION With space for 4 - 6 people, the accommodation consists of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom (small beds). The main living and dining seating area also converts into additional sleeping accommodation. From the living room, you can watch a wide variety of wild birds feeding and the croft itself is host to a variety of wonderful wild flowers. Bathroom with WC, wash basin and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped including gas cooker, fridge and microwave. There is a gas fire, TV and DVD/Video in the lounge area. The double bedroom has an electric heater for cooler times of year. Hairdyer provided.

TARIFF The tariff is £210 per week, inclusive of gas, electricity, and bed linen. For longer lets or out of season rates please contact us. A non-returnable deposit of £50 per week is payable when booking, with the balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. Please plan your arrival for after 4pm and depart by 10am on the last day of your stay. Please note: The caravan is Non-smoking Well behaved dogs may be allowed if kept under control. - By arrangement only.

DIRECTIONS From Dunvegan follow the B884 towards Glendale. On entering Glendale continue down the hill and the signpost for Feriniquarrie will be found on the right hand side. Follow to the 'T' Junction and turn left. Number 20 is the last croft on the left hand side before the loch.
