Ideal for a stress free, get-away-from-it-all holiday, this traditional croft cottage with spacious accommodation for 4+ people, is situated on a croft in Glendale, North West Skye. The cottage has a large mature garden regularly visited by wild birds many types of finches and tits while the skies above are regularly patrolled by buzzards.
Glendale has a Post Office with a well stocked shop to cover all your basic needs, and is home to the Toy museum, one of Skye's many attractions. Dunvegan Castle is only a short drive away. Serious walkers/climbers will find the Cuillin and the sea cliff climbs of Neist Point within easy reach. For those looking for less extreme walks there are lots of great walks locally to suit all levels of fitness and ability, such as Macleod's Tables. Fishermen will find plenty of river and sea fishing - mackerel and pollock are plentiful in the summer. For nature lovers, late May to early July is the time to come when the crofts and hills are covered with a huge variety of wild flowers, including stunning orchids. Whales and seals are regularly seen from Neist Point and Sea Eagles and golden eagles can also be spotted. |

Accommodation
The entrance is via the rear porch which leads into the kitchen. |

The kitchen has electric oven, gas hob and washing machine. The kitchen opens onto a spacious dining room.
The bathroom (downstairs) has wc, washbasin, full sized bath with an electric shower. |

Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms. One with double bed, the other with twin beds.
There are two additional beds available so the cottage can easily accommodate a family or group of up to six people.

The lounge has an open fire and there are electric convector heaters for the other rooms.
TARIFF
The price for 2011 is £350 per week. Bed linen and towels are provided. Gas is included in the price and electricity charged at cost according to units used. A non-returnable deposit of £100.00 per week is payable when booking, with balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. Please plan your arrival for after 4 pm and depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please note:
